Here are the Rayman Raving Rabbid costumes we wore to Anime Expo~ Over three months of hard labor right there! These were a lot of work, from designing and building the head structure, to just wearing it at the con @__@ But for our first mascot costumes I thought they were AWESOME, even with the mass abuse of duct tape and materials that probably shouldn't be used for this kind of thing.

Those costumes were HOT. Surprisingly, though, they were better than my Merchant costume, except when you put the head on. The fans we installed inside didn't work T__T Gotta make sure to learn from this and make sure to buy cooling packs next time! It was still great fun, running around acting in-character, screaming, waving our plungers around, etc. Plus, the photo requests and hugs we got were overwhelming, and although I don't know how common that is at a convention like AX, it still gave me a super special feeling that I kinda liked. To us, it was a huge success, and we're very proud of these bunnies.

Thanks! We made the heads out of foam and plastic wire mesh, then covered it with fabric and hot-glued on styrofoam eyes, the pink fabric, and the teeth. For the body, we basically just made jumpsuits, but made the body longer and wider, and the legs shorter. We then sewed in lining and stuffed it with polyfill. I probably shoulda explained all that in the description xD;;

Yeah, we were planing on making accurate Rabbid feet, but unfortunately, I underestimated the width, and it ended up being too small, so we couldn't do it... but I think it turned out all right :)

Thanks again for your comment!
